1. Why this is a short document

Nothing is paid before delivery. There is no checkout, no deposit and no advance. In almost every situation where another supplier would owe you a refund, we simply do not issue an invoice.

That is the whole design. What follows covers the cases that remain.

2. Cancelling before work starts

You may call off an engagement in writing at any point before work begins. Nothing has been paid, so no invoice is issued and nothing is owed either way. You do not need to give a reason.

3. Cancelling once work has begun

You owe the part actually performed, measured by time spent and anything already handed over. We send you the calculation together with the work itself, and invoice that amount alone.

Where a component has already been sent to you, it counts as supplied.

4. If we fail to deliver

If we do not deliver as agreed and do not put it right within a reasonable period after written notice, you may end the contract. The invoice is not issued, or is cancelled by credit note if it has already gone out. Anything you have paid is returned in full.

For a consumer, that repayment is made within fourteen days of the contract ending.

5. Faults found after delivery

Faults reported within fifteen days of delivery are corrected free of charge rather than refunded. Where correction proves impossible, we credit the part of the price that corresponds to what does not work.

These do not give rise to a credit: changes you asked for outside the agreed scope, a change made by a third-party publisher to their own software, or a modification made by you or someone else after delivery.

6. Consumer withdrawal

A consumer has fourteen days from accepting the proposal to withdraw, in the conditions set out in article 8 of the Terms of Service. Because nothing is collected in advance, withdrawing before we start leaves nothing to refund and no invoice to pay.

Where you asked us to start within those fourteen days, a proportionate amount for what was supplied remains due and is invoiced. We show the calculation before we send it.

7. If a refund is due

Repayments are made to the account the payment came from, in the currency it was made in, and we add no charge of our own. Where your bank converted the payment, the rate applied on the way back is theirs and may differ slightly from the one applied on the way out.

We repay within fourteen days of accepting that a repayment is due, and normally much sooner.

8. Complaints

Complaints should be made in writing to info@theatlasautomations.com, or by post to ATLAS COMMERCE ONLINE LIMITED, Unit 903, 9/F, Cameron Commercial Centre, 458-468 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

We acknowledge every complaint within five working days and give a reasoned reply within thirty days.
